Hello everyone! I hope everyone is having a great Sunday! :) How has everyone been?? It's almost been a month, I think, that I have not been writing and updating the blog. I hope to keep you guys updated as much as possible. :) To give you guys a bit of a life update, a lot has been going on lately. I just finished my midterms at school in which has taken most of my time these past two weeks. So glad that I'm done with my midterms! I get to have a little bit of a break. For now! Despite being done with midterm exams, I'm working very hard at getting though school with motivation and receive high grades given that I have to balance work as well. But you know what, I'm very happy and proud at what I have accomplished so far. Every time I wake up in the morning, I feel thankful and humble to be in the position I am at right now. I feel thankful, to have my job, my blog, my education, my family and friends because I know that other people don't have the possessions I have out there in the world. Which Is why I would like to tell each and everyone one of you to be thankful for what you have and be proud of all the accomplishments that you pursued. Most often, we put ourselves down and think that were are not doing enough in our lives. On the contrary, you actually are accomplishing so much in your lives. It just may be that you are not aware of it or you don't think about it because you are too focused on the negative aspects of your lives. Which is why I would like to talk about boosting you self-confidence along with talking about the outfit I'm wearing from Zara. Two in one, your welcome!

Before I get into talking about ways to boost your self-confidence, let me talk about this outfit from Zara. You guys probably have noticed that I have a slight obsession with the clothes from Zara. If you guys follow me on Instagram, I have been posting a lot of pictures wearing the autumn/winter collection pieces from this brand. My obsession with this brand is due to their elegant and classy style in apparel. The outfit I'm wearing is from their autumn/winter collection. I provided the links below if you are interested in owning these pieces.

In the pictures above, I'm wearing a draped neck cardigan with a belt in the color black. You guys may also notice my slight obsession with the color black. You will see me wearing more black in the fall and winter season. I even wear black in the warm seasons too! The color black to me is such a beautiful color that can give you a classy and elegant appearance. This cardigan is very comfy and warm. Perfect for the winter and fall season.

Now let 's change gears and talk about building your self- confidence. I'm sure most of us have struggled with self-confidence at some point in our lives. It's easy for us to focus on the negative aspects of ourselves then the positive. This negative way of thinking may lead to a downward spiral in hating yourself and lose your self- confidence. I would like to provide you some tips that have helped me and hopefully it can help you guys as well. Let's get to it!

1. Identify your areas of strength

In order to build self-confidence, figure out your strengths. Go ahead! Write down a list of things that you are good at. Write down all your strengths and all the good aspects of yourself. It can be something like, "I am friendly" or "I am good at __" (fill in the blank). It can be anything. I guarantee that you are good at a lot of things. It may be that you are good at a particular hobby of some sort. Often times, it breaks my heart when I hear people saying that "they are not smart enough" or "I'm not good enough". I always like to remind people that they are smart enough and good enough. You are smart in what you are good at. Everyone is smart in something. And I can't emphasize enough that you are good enough. Follow your strengths, that way you can build your self confidence.

2. Demonstrate you strengths

Once you have found your strengths, find ways to demonstrate them. For instance, if your strength is writing, then think about becoming a writer or create a writing blog. If your strength is that you love to help others, join a food bank or pursue a career that demonstrates that ability. By doing what you love, I'm sure your self-confidence can rise.

3. Self-Affirm

Allow yourself to feel proud of your abilities and strengths. It's not arrogant to be proud of your accomplishments. You are doing this for yourself inorder to build your confidence. Create positive affirmations for yourself. One example can be, "I'm good at yoga!" or "I'm good at writing". Try writing them down so it can stick to your mind more.

These are just some helpful tips! If you follow me on my pinterest, (does anyone even use pinterest??) lol you will find a board where I post anything pertaining to mental health. You can find a post about boosting you self-confidence there. Follow me on Pinterest! I hope you guys liked this post! Let me know what you guys thought about it. xoxo,
