Hey everyone! :) How has everyone been?? I hope you guys are doing ok and feeling motivated to accomplish your goals everyday. I know it has been a while since the last time I posted on about a recent collaboration, but I'm back feeling thankful that I am filled with energy and willing to work hard on keeping you guys inspired. ;) Well where do I start on updating you guys on what has been going on the past couple of weeks. Despite dealing with the stress of finals week, which I'm happily glad its over, I have been doing my best to get through my last weeks of the winter quarter. Almost done upon graduating! Looking forward to travel or already start a career in order to save up for graduate school. I'll see what the future holds for me. I am glad that I was also able to make room for outfit of the day shoots while I can despite the heavy workload at school. I try not to neglect you guys and I never will! I also picked up another fun hobby of photography in the past couple of weeks or months. I've been taking pictures of popular spots in LA in hope to practice on learning new skills on editing photos. I'll be posting those on my instagram or maybe have all the pictures I have taken in a blog post. :) We'll see! Besides finals week, I also wanted to share with you guys something a bit more personal by which you guys were maybe aware that I was absent for a bit. I wanted to share with you guys a bit about my fight against depression and anxiety. I was a little hesitant to talk about this as it is a tough subject to talk about, but I am no longer afraid to talk about it because maybe some of you can relate. And to those that struggle in closed doors, I want to let you guys know that you are not alone. It's sad that we do not talk about these issues as it is important health dilemma that should be talked about. I hope to be the voice to speak out on behalf of these issues in order to end the stigma.

For a week or two in prior weeks, I was struggling with bouts of depression. It is such a confusing issue to go though because when you are expereincing it, there is no reason why you are sad. There is no clear reason why you are sad - the sadness is just there and it really sucks the life out of you. There may be a reason as to why, but you can not really pin point what it is that is bothering you. It kind of reminds me of the dementors from Harry Potter where the dementors power is to suck the life out of you in order to kill you, well, that can be my example of what depression feels like. There is no sunshine when you are in this type of mood state, which is why I encourage you guys to seek help when you need it. Speak to a trusting family member or friends about your feelings or a professional. Your feelings matter! I am thankful to have my family members and friends pull me out of this as best as they can. But what also pulled me out of it was you guys, my blog, my friends and family, and the other beautiful things going on in my life despite the imperfect world we live in. We have the power to change our mindsets into a positive one. I will provide some of my self-care tips when dealing with depression and anxiety on another post. :) I can recall doing a lot of exercising, spending time with family and friends, eating right, and catching up on reading books.

Another thing I wanted to mention was the situation going on in our country ( in the US) and the world. I was going to post this blog post on Saturday, but due to the march on guns that day, I was thinking about waiting to post it up today in respect to that. I feel very angry (and maybe the majority of you guys are too) that no one in congress is listening, but I feel optimistic that there is going to be a change. We just need to keep fighting!

Aside from that, before it gets into a political debate lol, I wanted to share with you guys my new favorite pieces from the brands CARMAR Denim and LF Stores. In the pictures below, I am wearing their pieces. I feel like these colors and pieces are essentials for this spring. The neutrals and the bright colors are on trend.

The Los Angeles based brand, CARMAR Denim, has the best quality in jeans that seems to last you for a good amount of time. The ones I am wearing are high waisted and ripped from the ends. Lately I have been into high waisted jeans because I feel like they help show off your natural curves. :)

The top I am wearing is a cream colored top from LF stores. My favorite detail from this top is the long zipper on the back. It zips up to the neck that leads up to a choker. They come in different colors; they come in black, olive green, and grey. I will provide different styles of these jeans below for you guys to look at along with some of my favorite pieces from LF brand and CARMAR.
